These terms and rules apply to stays at Chalet L’Enchanteur and Le Havre Enchanteur.
Our chalets are designed for peaceful stays with family or friends. To ensure everyone's safety, protect our properties and Lake Laurianne, and maintain good relationships with our neighbours, we ask all guests to respect the following terms and rules.
For bookings made directly with Enchanteur & Co, an initial payment of 50% of the total amount is required at the time of booking.
The remaining 50% balance is due 30 days before arrival.
The reservation is confirmed once the required initial payment has been received.
We recommend that guests purchase travel or cancellation insurance to protect themselves against unforeseen circumstances.
Detailed arrival instructions, the access code, and information regarding your stay will be sent 24 to 48 hours before arrival.
Check-out time must be respected so that our cleaning team can prepare the chalet for the next guests.
If the chalet is vacated after 11:00 AM without prior approval and our cleaning team is required to wait, a late check-out fee of $80 per hour may be charged.
Exterior security cameras are present on the properties to help ensure security and compliance with the rules. There are no cameras inside the chalets.
The person making the reservation must be at least 30 years old and must be present at the chalet for the entire stay.
The booking guest is responsible for the group and must ensure that everyone on the property is aware of and follows these rules.
Reservations may not be made on behalf of a group if the person responsible for the reservation will not be staying at the chalet.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited.
Our properties are intended for peaceful stays with family or friends.
Any unauthorized gathering or serious or repeated violation of the rules may result in immediate termination of the stay and guests being required to leave without a refund.
Certain rules applicable to tourist accommodations are governed by the municipal regulations of Saint-Côme.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in a fine of up to $1,000, without prior warning.
Any fine or violation resulting from the actions of guests during their stay will be entirely the responsibility of the person who made the reservation.
Noise that may disturb the peace or tranquility of neighbours is prohibited.
Sound travels particularly easily across Lake Laurianne, so we ask our guests to be especially mindful of noise levels.
Fireworks are strictly prohibited at all times.
Guests are strictly prohibited from bringing or launching any outside watercraft on Lake Laurianne, whether personally owned, rented, or borrowed.
Only watercraft provided by the property owner may be used.
Tents, trailers, tent trailers, RVs, or other recreational vehicles may not be used for accommodation on the property or on nearby land.
Accessory buildings may not be used for accommodation either.
Pets are not permitted.
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the chalets.
Guests who smoke outdoors must dispose of cigarette butts safely and leave none on the property.
Any additional cleaning required due to smoke or odours inside the chalet may be charged to the guest.
Watercraft and life jackets are provided free of charge according to the equipment available at each chalet.
Life jackets must be worn when using the watercraft, and children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Guests are responsible for the proper use of all watercraft and equipment provided. Any loss, breakage, or damage may be charged to the guest.
The hot tub must be used responsibly and in accordance with the instructions provided at the chalet.
Objects, toys, soap, shampoo, or any other product that could affect the water quality or damage the equipment are prohibited in the hot tub.
Children must be supervised by an adult.
The cover must be properly replaced after use.
Any cleaning, draining, or servicing required as a result of improper use may be charged to the guest.
Indoor fireplaces and outdoor fires must be used responsibly and must never be left unattended.
Fireplaces must not be overloaded, and manufactured firelogs are not permitted.
Outdoor fires must be completely extinguished after use.
Any fire ban or restriction in effect during the stay must be respected.
Our chalets are supplied by artesian wells.
Responsible water use is requested, particularly for larger groups. Please avoid excessive water consumption and stagger showers when several guests are staying at the chalet.
Guests must treat the property, furniture, and equipment with care.
Any damage, breakage, or malfunction must be reported to us as soon as it is noticed so that we can address the issue promptly.
The person responsible for the reservation is responsible for any damage caused by themselves or members of their group during the stay.
The cost of repairing or replacing damaged or missing property may be charged.
The cleaning fee covers normal cleaning after your stay. Guests are not expected to fully clean the chalet before departure.
The chalet must, however, be left in reasonable condition. Personal food must be removed, and garbage, recycling, and compost must be placed in the designated areas.
If the chalet requires significant additional cleaning beyond normal turnover cleaning, an additional cleaning fee of $80 per hour may be charged.
Detailed check-out instructions are provided to guests before the end of their stay.
Winter road conditions can change quickly.
Guests are responsible for ensuring that their vehicle, tires, and driving are appropriate for winter conditions.
Enchanteur & Co does not reimburse towing, roadside assistance, or other expenses resulting from an unsuitable vehicle or driving difficulties.
Weather or road conditions do not automatically qualify for a refund.
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings during their stay.
The lake, dock, watercraft, hot tub, fireplaces, and other amenities must be used carefully and in accordance with the instructions provided.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult, particularly around the lake, hot tub, and fireplaces.
By making a reservation, the person responsible for the booking acknowledges having read these terms and agrees to comply with them and ensure that all members of the group comply with them.
